Hey! Thank you :) I’m glad you like it.
That’s a tough one. It’s hard to inspire someone to be into something without feeling like it becomes contrived. The best advice I can give is honestly to try and communicate why YOU like it, what it makes you feel, how it makes you feel. Talk to him about it. If he can understand the happiness and freedom it gives you, I think that’s the best way to help someone fall into the caretaker role more easily.
Just start with little things (heh, pun not intended): have a paci or two around. If you’re just cuddling and watching tv or whatever, just use it. One, it will make you happy and give you some headspace but as well as being around him in that space in a more “passive” sense. Something like a paci or drinking out of a sippy cup doesn’t require effort or understanding on his part, but it allows him to see you and be around you in that space. Once he can see and feel a little more comfortable with it, as well as see you in a happy place, you’ll hopefully see a little more active effort on his part. I mean, who can resist the look in the eyes of a little when you get his paci for him. 😀
As far as helping with YOUR headspace, that’s a bit easier. I’m going to post my list of little space happy things. You make like some of them, you may not. But these are what help me.

The most important part about it is finding YOUR happy place. Even little triggers that you can do alone. Little space is supposed to be this warm happy snuggly self-assured place. Let it be. and don’t worry if you can’t find it right away. It will come :)
